i'm declaring that JUNE-JULY 2007 period was the worse time that ever happened to me. macam everything that i do, semua tak kena! seriously! maybe i was so damn tired and takleh nak focus on my work. Dengan ntah berapa puluh job running in hand, i missed few things in EVERY job that i did!! that's bad!! i guess it must be the result of working without off days for 6 months!!
however, JULY-AUGUST has been very good. or at least so far. other than finally getting 2 days off, for the past 3 weeks i didn't have to go to office on weekends to finish up my work. yess...i've been spending my weekends at home or going out to wherever i want. playing PS2 dari petang sampai petang satu lagi, breakfast at 4:30pm, tengok movies, pegi ou with certain someone (dan kantoi ngan muzie), pegi 4WD outings and of course, willingly going to the office to do some work. :)
and two days ago someone offered to buy my car! and yesterday there was another offer. damn! saya sayang kereta sayaaaa!!! tidakkss!!

after months of working during weekends, i finally can see that i do not need to come to the office tomorrow and the day after (saturday and sunday).
now, i'm thinking of attending a friend's wedding in seremban, then be back for movie and perhaps futsal at night. and i'm thinkig of wallclimbing on sunday. is it possible?
well, one can only hope. :D
owh, and of course, i'm soooooo hoping that i can spend at least 5 minutes with that special someone!

saya tertekan kerana tidak bisa membuka blog saya menggunakan PC di opis. oleh kerana komputer di rumah saya sudah tidak berfungsi, maka saya amat jarang membuka blog saya. saya hanya boleh mengupdate, tetapi tidak dapat membuka semua page yang berdomainkan blogdrive. :( tetapi hari ini adalah hari spesial. kerana saya telah membrowse blog salah seorang klien saya, dan dia telah menulis kata-kata yang baik terhadap kompeni tempat saya bekerja. :D berikut adalah petikan dari blognya:
The old website of my employer, HeiTech Padu Berhad, has been substituted by a brand new one. It's refreshing and dynamic. Let me narrate briefly:-
The website pitching took place on March 2007. Three (3) companies of young aspiring website and creative designers presented their ideas and strategies. Out of them, we chose fmmedia. The main reason and decision was unanimous. They knew what we wanted, they knew their stuff well and they sold their strength and capabilities to us. During the post-deliberation, we agreed to have them and of course, they have delivered a job well done.
They launched the website during HeiTech's Annual Dinner 2007, at KLCC Convention Centre, which I could not join last Friday. Nevertheless, I hope to be able to flip over amazing snaps from that event soon.
Fmmedia, in my opinion, is a model for Malaysian youth who aspires to be technopreneur. When they came for the pitching, it reminded me of the Apprentice. Nevertheless, I am quite pleased with the result of their masterpeace. Worth to praise and worth to mention their dedication.
Alas, the only challenging task for us (in HeiTech now, though I am not representing my employer - but rather, a personal opinion - I am disclaiming myself here), is to maintain the content consistently. That will make potential customers and our existing shareholders visit and revisit the website without boredom.
Good job Fmmedia and how I have missed being in this year's Annual Dinner.

smile because it happens...
9am, Putrajaya
A: so emran, petang ni boleh dapat tak barang-barang tu?
E: whoahh..petang nih macam tak sempat, tapi saya cuba la.
A: kitorang ada event kat nilai esok pagi, kalau boleh nak pakai la. kalau tak dapat harini pun, u datang nilai esok pagi...hehhee
E: owh..tidakkk...saya akan cuba siapkan petang ni jugaks!! nanti saya pass kat puan eh?
yess..this situation is kinda normal for us. our clients knows that most of the time, we can deliver our work on time. even the near impossible ones.
anyway...after making sure everything was on track, i was busy with meetings and other works that needs to be done at the office. unfortunately, i was unable to pass them the stuff even though it's ready, due to some late meetings.
nampaknye kene hantar those stuff to nilai la...huhuuu...jauhhhh!!! dan penattsss!!!
fortunately, i receive an sms from her:
n: sudikah en emran membawa saya keluar makan malam ini?
e: boleh, tapi dinner lambat sket, around 9. in a meeting now
n: okay, no prob.
e: but u have to teman me. i'm going to nilai to deliver stuff. okay tak?
n: ermm..okay.
so there.
i guess it wasn't that bad after all.
pick her up at 9pm, pegi dinner kat macd, and off to nilai. weather was exceptionally good. angin kuat with clear sky, all the way pegi dan balik. whoahh...kinda romantic come to think of it.
plus sekarang boleh bukak bumbung. :)

attempting the impossible
at fmmedia, we really try to push your own limit.
we were approached to do a video launching. great. we submitted our quotation, together with the timeline, which clearly stated: 6 weeks.
concept, idea, storyboard, shooting, 3D, voice over, editing, music..right till the production of DVD. 6 weeks.
came chinese new year and the holiday mood. they finally agreed. after 3 weeks. which left us with 3 weeks to do the whole thing which was supposed to take 6 weeks.
and of course, that's not the only project running. we of course had few more on running jobs.
we however agreed. sigh. then begins my sleepless night, subuh at the office, and mcdelivery session.
last thursday was the event, and thank god, they like what we've done.
can i now go back to normal sleeping hours?
i think not. :(
